| 1:59 pm | I wonder how long this newest magic mishap is going to last. I managed to gather up the caterpillars that a third year summoned up yesterday. Just, well, watch where you sit in case some stray ones alluded me. In related news, we now have a caterpillar farm in the common room. If they stick around maybe we'll have butterflies. |

| 12:05 pm | If you need to talk to someone, I'm always willing to listen. I'll set aside what I'm doing if you need someone. Prefects are here to help you, not just for house points. My condolences to those who knew Miss Nash. [Head of House Kent] I'm looking to set up a buddy system in Hufflepuff so that we can help keep an eye on the younger years after this. If you've any other ideas that you could come up with so that we can help the staff look after us, could you let me know? I want to do anything I can to help make sure that we don't have to have a vigil for one of Hufflepuff's kids. [/Private] [Hufflepuff] With what's happened to Miss Nash and all the other incidents that are going on, I think it'd be a good idea if we set up something within Hufflepuff so that we can keep an eye on everyone. Maybe a buddy system sort of thing, so we can check in with each other, help out each other and keep anyone from getting hurt or worse. If you've any ideas on what we can do to keep each other safe, let me know. If some of the other NEWTs defense kids want to help me and Edgar, we're looking at helping the younger years learn a few spells to help them get away if someone comes after them. Strictly defense. That really goes for anyone. If you're in danger, get away. Don't be a hero. Get away and find someone who can help. [/Private] |

Hello to the world outside Fort Gawain though. Looks like I've missed a fair bit. And here I thought prefecting rounds and quidditch would keep me in the loop. |
